The documentary Sacred Blood was produced with the main aim of sharing one of the many realities that involve women’s health and bringing the impact so that together we can raise funds and donate for what the NGO PeachAid Medical Initiative is doing, in Nigeria, which promotes security, menstrual health, maternal health and women’s empowerment.

The PeachAid Medical Initiative (PMI) is a community-based humanitarian organization, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (RC 80566) and the Federal Ministry of Health of Nigeria.

The non-profit institution’s goal is to help reduce the high rate of maternal and female deaths in rural communities and camps for internally displaced persons (victims of terrorist attacks), ensuring body awareness, hygiene during childbirth and menstrual health. It also improves the standard of delivery of reproductive health services and access to contraceptive options at the level of Primary Health Care in rural communities across Nigeria.

Therefore, all the amounts collected are directed directly to PMI, specifically for the purchase of menstrual cups and support for women who, culturally, believe that menstruation is a curse and don’t yet know about the importance of this nature within themselves.

We invite you to watch the documentary Sacred Blood and get involved with us in this movement through donations, any amount being an immense collaboration.
